Good evening Riss Lake Riptides Swim Families!

With Spring Break upon us it is time to start thinking toward SUMMER, and with that comes Riss Lake Riptides Swim Team! Registration will officially open to all returning swim families and current residents of Riss Lake tomorrow, April 1st. New Non-Residents will be able to register beginning April 15th.

There are two very important items that I need to share with you.

1. We are happy to announce that we are using a new website this year which is way more user friendly than our one in the past. It is through SwimTopia, and the site is risslakeriptides.swimtopia.com. Residents of Riss Lake should have received a postcard in the mail with instructions on how to create your account on this new site. If you are not a resident of Riss Lake subdivision, the steps are pretty simple:

1. Go the the site linked above.

2. Click login.

3. Type in the email address associated with your Team Unify account and then click “Forgot Password”. You will then receive an email with information on how to set your password, login, and begin to set up your new account on Swimtopia. Once you have done this you can look around the site and check things out. The site is still a work in progress, so please be patient while we get the new site fully up to date with our team information.

We are also asking that you please download the Swimtopia app on your phone. We will be sending "text" communications through that platform this season. After your account is set up on the website then you can enter that same information and be able to log into the app. ALL TEAM COMMUNICATION WILL HAPPEN THROUGH THIS APP!

2. We will be having a Parent Q and A/Meet the Coaches/Open House event on Sunday, May 2nd at the Woodhaven Pool. Coaches and board members will be on hand to answer any questions you have about the team or the swim season. There will also be an opportunity to try on swimsuits if you are not sure what size to order.
